Booking & Payment

Q: How do I book a session?

A: Everything runs through vivid-focus.com. Go to the category page you want, seniors, pets, etc. There will be a book now button on the page that takes you straight to choosing your date and paying your session fee.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: When on the booking page, you can choose to pay with credit card, bank transfer, Klarna, and Affirm. If you wish to use PayPal, CashApp, or Venmo, message me and I will set that up for you.

Q: Do you require a deposit to book?

A: Yes, the session fee must be paid up front to save your spot on the calendar.

Q: What's your weather or rescheduling policy?

A: If you need to reschedule for personal reasons, I require 7 days notice. If you wake up with a fever or vomiting on shoot day, of course I will work with you. I want you feeling your best for our day. If the weather is bad, we will work together to reschedule.

Q: How long until I see my photos?

A: About 10 days after your session, we'll meet for a reveal and ordering session. You'll see your full gallery and place your order together, no guessing at it alone on a screen.

Senior Sessions

Q: How much does a senior session cost?

A: Sessions start at $175 for The Essential, an hour with one location and two outfits. The Featured is $300 for two hours, two locations, and three to four outfits. The Showcase is $500 and includes three hours, three locations, six outfits.

Q: What's included in the session fee?

A: The session itself, planning and location guidance, and your proof box. About 10 days later, we'll have a reveal and ordering session where you'll choose from senior collections or build your own order à la carte.

Q: Can I bring a friend?

A: Yes, for $50 each. They'll be added into one of your locations and you'll both walk away with an 8x10 collage print and web-sized files.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?

A: Periodically, yes. Senior VIP enrollment opens at certain points in the year, including a window around Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and lets you pay down your session over time instead of all at once. Watch for the announcement if you want in.

Q: Where do sessions take place?

A: Wherever feels right to you. Locations are chosen together, and a pop-up changing tent means we're not limited by where you can change outfits.There are even options to go to local flower fields in the summer!

Family Sessions

Q: How much does a family session cost?

A: The session fee is $275 and covers planning, up to an hour of photography, editing, and your private online gallery. Artwork collections start at $500 if you want prints and canvases built in.

Q: How long do sessions run?

A: About an hour, mixing natural moments with portraits that are lightly guided rather than stiff.

Q: Where do family sessions happen?

A: Outdoors around the Four State Area. If you love it, we'll do it. We can even hold the session in and around your home.

Q: Do you photograph extended family or larger groups?

A: Family sessions are designed for immediate family. If you've got something bigger in mind, reach out directly, and we can talk through it.

PET PORTRAIT SESSIONS

Q: How much does a pet portrait session cost?

A: $250 for about an hour together.


Q: What's included in the session fee?

A: The session itself and planning guidance, the same as it works for family sessions. About 10 days later, we'll have a reveal and ordering session to go through your gallery.


Q: What print and product options are available?

A: The same lineup as family sessions. Wall art collections start at $500 and include Collagewall modular displays, gift prints, and matching digital files. Heirloom albums, individual prints, metal prints, keychains, and other keepsakes are available à la carte too.

ORDERING & PRODUCTS

Q: How do I see and order my photos?

A: About 10 days after your session, we'll have a reveal and ordering session together to go through your gallery and place your order.


Q: Do digital files come included?

A: Yes. Every image you order comes with a matching digital file, in every session type except volume and fundraising work. If you want digitals beyond what comes with your order, those are available for $40 each, though most clients don't need to since the matching ones are already included.
