Pet Portraits
Before I was a photographer, I was a dog groomer. Before that, I was studying biology with every intention of going to vet school. I spent a year and a half as the director of the Southeast Kansas Humane Society, and my own dog Bentley came home with me from SEK Animal Advocates. I am dedicated to animal rescue and pets have been the center of my life in one form or another for as long as I can remember.
When I pick up my camera, I'm photographing my kids. Bentley counts.
So when I say I understand what it means to want a real portrait of your pet, I mean that in a pretty specific way. Not a posed, stiff, "look at the treat" shot. Something that actually looks like them, the way you see them at home.

session Details

A relaxed portrait session for your pet, at their pace and in a spot that works for them. We can shoot at your home, a favorite park, or anywhere in between.
Have more than one pet? Bring them all. We'll work at whatever pace keeps everyone comfortable, even if that means taking a few breaks.
Family members are welcome to join. Some of the best shots happen when the whole crew is together.

$250 · 1 hour · Outdoor or on-location

after the session

About 10 days after your session, we will meet in person of over zoom to view your private online gallery to choose your favorite images to keep forever.
Wall art collections start at $500 and include Collagewall modular displays, gift prints, and matching digital files. Heirloom albums, individual prints, metals, keychains, and other keepsakes are also available à la carte.
Your gallery stays open for ordering after your session, and I'm always happy to help you figure out what works best for your space.
